Job Overview Sales Associate in our Sports Medicine specialty, responsible for representing Stryker products in the field. Responsibilities Assist Sales Representatives with the sales, promotion, and marketing of Stryker products. Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on proper use, maintenance, product functionality, and updates. Tailor Stryker’s promotional message based on customer knowledge. Advise on product selection, answer customer questions, and differentiate Stryker products from competitors. Communicate with large groups and conduct telephonic outreach. Negotiate price and terms and resolve customer complaints. Analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns. Perform occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and continuous lifting up to 20 pounds. Use common office equipment (fax, modem, calculator, PC). Travel overnight up to 20% of the year and drive an automobile as required. Qualifications 0–2 years in an outside sales position (medical related fields preferred). B.A. or B.S. degree required. Completion of field sales training and in‑house product training program. Confident communicator with persuasive skills. Charismatic networker who builds powerful relationships. Strategic closer who consistently exceeds quarterly sales quota. Trusted partner with subject‑matter expertise. Competitive and persistent, results‑driven.
