Luxury Retail Store Manager

General Manager — Grown Brilliance, Easton (Columbus, OH) The Role The Easton General Manager owns the day-to-day performance of the store, with sales growth as the clear top priority. This is a hands-on leadership role: you're on the floor daily, selling alongside your team, coaching in real time, and making sure the store runs like a well-oiled operation. Local activation and clienteling matter, but they're in service of one goal — steady, growing top-line sales out of a fully staffed, well-run store. Key Responsibilities: Sales Performance (Top Priority) Personally drive the store's top-line sales performance — this is the primary measure of success in this role. Work the sales floor daily alongside the team: engage clients directly, close sales, and lead by example. Set and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, and hold the team accountable to them. Ensure the team demonstrates strong product knowledge and delivers a consistent, client-first selling experience. Staffing & Team Development Recruit and fully staff the store, then keep it consistently and reliably staffed — this is a core, ongoing responsibility of the role. Train and coach the team on product knowledge, selling technique, and day-to-day store standards. Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback on the floor. Run regular team meetings to align on goals, review performance, and reinforce what's working. Local Activation & Client Experience Build local awareness and drive traffic through community and local market activation efforts. Maintain a client-first, hospitable experience that turns visits into repeat business. Support outreach and follow-up using tools like Endear to keep client relationships active. Store Operations & Inventory Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory, proper stock levels, and loss prevention standards. Maintain accurate handling of repairs and special orders. Keep the store running smoothly day to day — scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and day-to-day troubleshooting. Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, flagging trends and opportunities early. Monitor individual and team performance against goals, adjusting coaching as needed. What We’re Looking For 3-5+ years of leadership experience in retail, with a track record of personally driving sales results. Experience building and stabilizing a team — hiring, training, and retaining staff to keep a store fully running. A hands‑on operator mentality: comfortable on the floor, in the day‑to‑day, and focused on consistent execution over big‑picture vision. Experience in jewelry or high‑touch retail is a plus, but not required. Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Solid communication skills — able to close a sale and keep a team aligned. Organized and dependable, able to manage both daily store operations and team development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail point-of-sale systems. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
