Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystIn this role, you will support our financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions across our manufacturing operations and field service technicians. You will play a key role in helping management make informed business decisions through accurate financial data and insights. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and is located onsite at our St. Louis, MO headquarters.Financial Analysis & ReportingPrepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reportsAnalyze financial performance against budgets and forecastsIdentify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savingsCreate dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial metrics to leadershipBudgeting & ForecastingAssist in developing annual budgets for manufacturing operations and field servicesMaintain and update financial forecasts based on operational activityAnalyze budget variances and provide explanations and recommendationsOperational Finance SupportTrack and reconcile manufacturing costs, labor expenses, and field service billingMonitor project profitability and job costing accuracySupport inventory valuation and cost accounting processesAssist with accounts payable and receivable reconciliationGeneral Accounting SupportProcess and verify transactions and journal entriesAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresSupport audit preparation and external reportingMaintain financial documentation and recordsData ManagementMaintain financial databases and spreadsheetsEnsure accuracy of data input and reportingAssist with implementation of accounting software upgradesEducation, Qualifications, Knowledge, & SkillsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience3+ years of relevant experience in accounting/financial reportingExperience creating Tableau reportsStrong GAAP and SOX knowledge/experienceOrganized, systematic, and demonstrate abilities to develop strategic plansStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated; able to work well with limited direction and under pressureTechnical acumen, creative thinking, problem-solving, conceptual, and analytical skillsStrong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative team player
