Job Overview A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney for its Kansas City, MO office. The role involves managing a personal injury pre‑litigation caseload, building client relationships, and negotiating with insurers to move cases toward resolution. Duties Manage a personal injury pre‑litigation caseload from intake through demand and resolution. Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication. Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery. Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, correspondence, and legal documents. Collaborate with and direct paralegal and case management staff in the KC office. Develop referral relationships to grow your book of business. Requirements Active Missouri Bar license required. At least one year of personal injury experience preferred; relevant civil litigation background considered. Eligibility to obtain Kansas Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity). Genuine client‑first orientation. Organized and self‑directed in a high‑volume environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with legal technology and case management platforms. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active Missouri Bar license. Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills.
