Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for their Rapid City, South Dakota patient service center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, maintaining patient records, and delivering customer service in a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other assays
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing and collect patient payments when required
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
