Installation of various vehicle interior/exterior parts.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of all interior/exterior components and hardware
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as schedules
• Meet all QA and QC standards for each task
• Function with a minimal amount of supervision
• Close attention to detail
• Meet standards of safety and 5S standards
• Promote the use and applications of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools as part of the culture
• Be compliant with the rules of conduct and attendance policy
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment): Ability to read, write comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English Must be able to prioritize work Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devises Familiar with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and router Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it Education and Experience: 0-1 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred Physical Demands: Thy physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work with arms above head. Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particle and vibration. Employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals Production Floor Personal Protective Equipment Recommended and/or Required on Production Floor: Safety Glasses Earplugs Work gloves when needed Dust mask when needed Closed-toed shoes Knee pads

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $17.54 - $22.13. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
