AV Technician Installer

Audio Video Integrations is seeking an AV Technician Installer to join our Portland-based team designing and installing custom audio, video, networking, and automation systems. In this hands-on role, you'll pre-wire, terminate, and install AV components, mounts, speakers, racks, and smart home devices in residential and commercial environments. You'll configure and test systems, troubleshoot issues on-site, and provide clear, professional client walk-throughs. Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to deliver clean, reliable, and well-documented installations that reflect our craftsmanship, technical excellence, and responsive customer service culture.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling for audio, video, data, and control systems.
• Mount and install TVs, speakers, projectors, racks, and related AV hardware.
• Configure and test AV, networking, and automation systems for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, floor plans, and scope documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site AV and network issues.
• Perform neat cable management, labeling, and documentation of installations.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other technicians on project execution.
• Conduct system walk-throughs and basic user training with clients.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in safe working condition.
• Follow jobsite safety standards and company quality practices.
