About the Role:
Calfeather Inc is looking for skilled Sewers to join our production team in Commerce, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your sewing expertise to a company that values craftsmanship and quality. If you take pride in your work and love working with your hands, we want to hear from you!
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble pillows & home furnishings products according to specifications
- Follow patterns, templates, and work orders to ensure accurate construction and consistent quality
- Inspect finished pieces for defects, loose threads, and proper seam alignment
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficient production flow
- Meet daily production quotas while upholding quality standards
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report any equipment issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and fulfill production goals
- Previous experience in sewing, home furnishings products, preferred
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work at a steady pace and meet production targets
- Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in a fast-paced environment
