Role Descriptions Server Builds: Core and Plant server builds for UAT and Production Environments Job title: Deployment Engineer Role Descriptions Server Builds: Core and Plant server builds for UAT and Production Environments Prerequisites for All Server Types Database related activities Windows Roles configuration Apriso application Installation Post Installation Changes Remote Desktop Web Client Setup MPI and OPC Server Builds MES Upgrades MES Upgrade activity for Major upgrade, example: Apriso 2019 to Apriso 2026 MES Upgrade activity for Minor upgrade, example release upgrade within Apriso 2019 Post upgrade support to plants Documentation of new added processes along with checklist, enhancement of existing documents Validation of deployment packages using standard deployment procedures Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for deployment failures and configuration-related issues Coordinate with development, QA, and production support teams during application deployments and Plant Go-Live Skills Primary Skills Operating Systems Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025) Basic Linux administration (nice to have) Database Tools Functional knowledge and configuration experience in both SSMS and Oracle TOAD Query & Scripting Ability to debug scripts and troubleshoot SQL queries independently Database backup/restore Basic performance tuning Web & Application Servers IIS Web Deploy Application pool configuration Reverse proxy concepts Infrastructure VMware / Hyper-V Active Directory DNS, DHCP Group Policy Certificate management (SSL/TLS) PowerShell scripting Networking TCP/IP Firewalls Load balancers Port management Network troubleshooting Secondary Skills Apriso Expertise: Understanding of GPM (Global Production Manager) and Deployment processes Understanding of other Apriso applications line Desktop Client and Process Builder Problem Solving Basic root-cause analysis (RCA) skills for deployment failures and configuration errors Soft Skills Good communication to coordinate with Plant and other stakeholders for the technical issues Good documentation of the new processes and enhancement of existing processes Experience Required: 4-6 #J-18808-Ljbffr
