Content Designer

This organization is seeking a Content Designer to collaborate on and recommend best-in-class customer experience changes. The successful candidate will partner with internal teams and support new and existing features to create clear, customer-facing messages and support materials. Acting as an advocate for the customer, this writer will develop and edit engaging support content that aligns with brand standards while providing expertise on content best practices, tone, and messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and strategize about communications that provide crucial information relevant to the overall online support experience.
• Create and edit email and SMS copy that supports representatives and explains complex topics directly to customers, collaborating with subject matter experts as needed.
• Utilize the content management system to explore and implement the best ways to use available tools and components.
• Create storyboards and write or update scripts for support videos, collaborating with the Design team to produce final video products.
• Represent and maintain brand style and tone across multiple platforms, including support articles, digital communications, and videos.
• Facilitate discussions and collaborate with stakeholders to determine and deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Develop digital communications, including emails, SMS, and RCS messages, on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional writing experience.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with common productivity tools, Figma, AI tools, and JIRA or other ticketing systems.

Skills and Abilities: Understanding of basic UX and product design principles; knowledge of design thinking and user experience design best practices, specifically the distinction between copywriting and content design; effective written and verbal communication skills; strong time management skills with the ability to work self-directed; ability to balance and pivot between multiple projects; and exceptional attention to detail.

Work Environment

This role operates in an office environment with a hybrid structure, requiring four days onsite and allowing for one remote day per week.
