This posting is for a department manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Description "
The Department Manager leads shifts and may oversee specific departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People. Responsibilities include ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly customer service, maintaining product and food quality, controlling costs, training staff, and managing scheduling to meet sales and profit goals.

Lead shifts and departments, ensuring a smooth, efficient operation.
Set goals, delegate tasks, and report results to teams and higher management.
Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
Maintain organized Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas.
Control food safety, quality, and cost; train kitchen staff on production procedures.
Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew; recognize and motivate them.

Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments.
Positive team player with flexible schedule and passion for fast‑paced service.
Must be 18 years or older.
