Tabor Hills Senior Living offers an Independent Living Community, Supportive Living Community, and a Healthcare Facility.We have a great opportunity for**a Part Time (**10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) **Dining Services Aide** to join our team on our supportive living campus.* STARTING RATE IS $15.25 PER HOUR.* ILLINOIS PAID LEAVE FOR ALL**Job Functions/Responsibilities:*** Works on serving line.* Checks meals for accuracy before they leave the kitchen area.* Assists Cook, as needed.* Washes pots, dishes and silverware according to dishwashing, pot washing procedure. Puts clean pots/dishes and silverware away. Cleaning of equipment and kitchen floor/refrigerators as assigned.* Takes trash out to dumpster.* Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.* Delivers/serves food.* Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.## Qualifications1. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.2. EXPERIENCE: Preferred.3. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting 75 TO 100 pounds by self with frequent Lifting and/or carrying of objects. Exerting considerable force frequently and/or intermediate force constantly to move objects and residents. Reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual near acuity.4. TRAVEL: May travel within campus.5. WORKING CONDITIONS: Considerable exposure to disagreeable conditions, including odors, infection, and illness.6. PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: Works with elderly residents, families, and other health care members.7. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK, including, but not limited to:a. Works in a safety conscious manner, which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to others in the workplace.b. Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.c.
