Staff Data Engineer

Offering a remote opportunity, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will provide technical leadership in designing and developing a modern data platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable data models and data products that enhance reporting and analytics. Key responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of scalable data models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of the data architecture Design, build, and optimize cloud-native ELT pipelines to support various data products, including payment analytics and regulatory reporting Serve as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and driving best practices for data modeling and pipeline development Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field 10+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering Deep expertise in designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-native architectures Expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, fact and dimension design, and data warehouse architecture Strong experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS technologies
