Maintenance Technician

Job Summary Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities. This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/ Competencies. Job Description Key Accountabilities Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs. Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility. Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs. Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services. Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance. Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
