Shop Foreman
Pay: $38-$49 per hour DOE
Shift: Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, must be able to work overtime
Location: Channelview, TX 77530

Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to oversee operations in a heavy fabrication environment specializing in plate forming, rolling, and welding of cylinders. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing an ASME or similar vessel/fabrication shop and a strong understanding of the complete roll-and-weld process. • Supervise and coordinate daily shop operations involving plate forming, rolling, fitting, and welding.
• Lead fabrication crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
• Oversee the forming and rolling of heavy steel plate into cylinders.
• Manage the complete roll-and-weld process, from plate preparation and forming through welding and final fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld procedures, and project specifications.
• Ensure proper plate layout, fit-up, rolling, welding, and dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and workflow to meet production schedules.
• Monitor quality and ensure work meets applicable codes and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and production issues and provide practical solutions.
• Train, coach, and provide direction to shop personnel.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment.

Qualifications

• Plate forming/rolling experience is required.
• Proven roll-and-weld cylinder fabrication experience is required.
• Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead, or Supervisor in heavy fabrication is preferred.
• Experience managing an ASME or similar vessel shop is highly preferred.
• Experience with API 2B or AWS D1.1 welding standards is a plus.
• ASME welding experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong understanding of heavy plate fabrication, cylinder forming, welding, and fit-up.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency.
