The Vibra Diagnostic and Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to become an integral part of our remote counseling team. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to engage with a diverse client population while providing therapeutic support through a virtual setting. As an LMHC, you will assess clients' mental health status, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific needs.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while maintaining a strong focus on client care. You will have a structured work schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, ensuring no evening or weekend obligations, which allows you to enjoy work-life balance. All necessary technology and resources will be provided to facilitate effective telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering positive, professional relationships that adhere to ethical guidelines.

  • Conduct regular sessions to review clients' progress and emotional stability, discussing future appointments and planning for discharge when appropriate.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' needs, goals, and preferences.

  • Document progress notes accurately and maintain up-to-date records for each client's case file in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather necessary information that informs the treatment process.

  • Engage in therapeutic sessions with clients to work on specific mental health issues, employing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities.

  • Participate in individual supervision and constructive feedback sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse spectrum of clients presenting with various mental health concerns, including but not limited to substance use disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and relational issues. Your clinical expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their challenges and fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

  • Current, unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.

  • At least one year of post-graduate clinical experience within an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in handling various mental health conditions.

  • Strong critical thinking abilities coupled with exceptional communication and active listening skills are essential for client engagement and therapeutic effectiveness.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies is preferred to facilitate effective documentation and client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
