Set Up Technician – 1st Shift

You will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by supporting the production floor, responding to equipment repair and troubleshooting requests, minimizing machine downtime, and helping ensure continuous, high-quality production.

Schedule Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay $17.00 – $18.00 per hour , based on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily production line setups accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and maintain presses and production equipment during the assigned shift.
• Verify that the correct blueprints, gauges, and components are on the production line according to the Shop Order Packet.
• Complete the first 5-part check to ensure the production line is properly set up.
• Perform all required changeovers and maintain setup kits with the correct tooling, equipment, and job instructions.
• Assist the Material Handler as needed to support production.
• Crosstrain in assembly and provide coverage when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company policies and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of related manufacturing or mechanical experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, culturally diverse environment.
