In addition, this unit will further provide careto a variety of medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical patients.Patients in this area benefit from daily rounds with the entire interdisciplinary team.Additionally, this unit houses an 8-bed respiratory step-down unit with a 1:4 nursing ratio.Education - RequiredAssociated degree in nursingCertifications RequiredAHA BLSOR RED CROSSLicenses RequiredRegistered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)NURSYSExperience - Required:2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
