Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift 3x12.0

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12.0 schedule.

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. This role emphasizes both patient and employee safety, promoting a positive work environment and prioritizing superior patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis.
• Provide timely patient information for team conferences.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Contribute positively to unit operations and foster a supportive environment.
• Assume charge responsibilities as needed after orientation.
• Pursue professional development through continuing education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift
• ACLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift (CIRH ONLY)
• Minimum Two (2) Years Bedside Clinical Experience, highly desired
