Restoration 1 New Jersey is looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable Reconstruction Field Supervisor to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has some construction experience and is ready to take the next step into project supervision and management.

You do not need years of project-management experience. We are looking for someone who understands basic residential construction, communicates well, takes ownership, and wants to learn. We will provide training in insurance restoration, project management, customer communication, job documentation, and our internal systems.

You will work closely with an experienced operations manager, project coordinators, subcontractors, and the rest of our reconstruction team.

What You’ll Do

You will help oversee approximately 10-15 residential reconstruction projects at different stages of completion.

• Visit active job sites and monitor construction progress
• Make sure subcontractors are completing work properly and on schedule
• Review the scope of work before and during construction
• Communicate regularly with homeowners and provide project updates
• Identify delays, quality concerns, or additional work needed
• Take job-site photographs and maintain accurate project documentation
• Help coordinate material deliveries and job-site access
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
• Conduct project walkthroughs with homeowners
• Create punch lists and confirm that final items are completed
• Obtain completion certificates, customer approvals, and required signatures
• Communicate job progress to the operations manager and project coordinators
• Help move projects from construction through final invoicing and closeout

Our operations team will assist with subcontractor assignments, administrative coordination, estimating, and other back-office support. Your primary focus will be managing the customer experience and making sure the work in the field is completed correctly.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate does not need to be a senior project manager, but should have some exposure to construction, remodeling, property maintenance, restoration, or the building trades.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has basic knowledge of residential construction
• Is interested in growing into construction and project management
• Is organized and able to manage multiple projects
• Communicates professionally with customers and subcontractors
• Is comfortable visiting job sites throughout New Jersey
• Can recognize basic quality and workmanship concerns
• Takes initiative and follows through on commitments
• Is comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, email, and job-management software
• Has a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Is dependable, professional, and customer-focused

Experience in insurance restoration, remodeling, construction supervision, property management, or customer service is helpful, but not required.
