Global Supply Manager - Mechanical Commodities

Job Title: Global Supply Manager – Mechanical Commodities The Role A fast-growing energy technology company is looking for a Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing and supplier strategy for critical mechanical components. This is a key role working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to support new product development and production growth. Day to day Lead sourcing and supplier development across mechanical commodities including metal stamping, busbars, CNC machining, extrusions, and plastics. Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing. Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on NPI and production readiness. Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and capacity. Develop cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and supply-chain risk strategies. Build and maintain strong strategic supplier relationships. International travel to supplier sites as required (10–25%). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field. 2+ years' sourcing, supply management, or relevant manufacturing experience. Experience within EV, energy, electronics, or advanced manufacturing is desirable. Strong understanding of manufacturing costs, processes, and supplier negotiations.
