BOS Lounge Barista - Full-Time

Experienced Barista Opportunity

Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking an experienced Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages in our fast-paced airport environment. This role requires strong knowledge of commercial-grade barista equipment and coffee brewing techniques, the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, and the physical capability to stand for extended shifts while lifting up to 50 lbs.

The expected pay rate is $24/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match, paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

Your activities will include greeting and engaging customers with a smile, preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, operating espresso machines and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining cleanliness of the workspace, providing excellent customer service, restocking and maintaining par levels, bussing and sanitizing tables, and sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as needed.

Your profile should include the following: 21 years of age or older, previous experience as a barista or similar role within the food or beverage industry, strong knowledge of commercial grade barista/espresso machines, good command of the English language both verbal and written, high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation to and from the airport, ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance, physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift, positive attitude, willingness to get along with co-workers, ability to pass a 10 yr. federal background check, Food Handler's license and Responsible Beverage Service license or the ability to obtain, and willingness to work early mornings, late nights and/or weekends and holidays.
