Job Opportunity

Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position is open to first-time travelers and requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, TPA vein sampling, and cryoablations.
• Assist in phase 2 recovery procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and manage equipment during procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient records using the EPIC system.
• Participate in on-call duties, which include covering 2 full weekends in a 6-week period and 9 weeknight calls.

Patient Care:

The Interventional Radiology unit serves a diverse patient population with conditions such as:

• Gastrointestinal disorders
• Genitourinary issues
• Peripheral vascular complications
• Pulmonary conditions
• Endovascular lab procedures

Requirements:

• Valid WA State License and ARRT registered.
• Certification in BLS.
• Demonstrated experience with a variety of interventional radiology techniques, including but not limited to:



• Adrenal and renal angiography
• Embolization procedures
• Central venous access and management
• Endovascular interventions
• Strong understanding of catheter/drain exchange, TIPS, and various imaging modalities including CT and fluoroscopy.

Work Environment:

This position includes a mixture of inpatient and outpatient care. The Interventional Radiology unit collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and rapid response teams.

Additional Information:

• If applicable, previous experience at any affiliated facility as a permanent employee may impact eligibility.
• Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities based on staffing needs.
