Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule with 40 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The role involves delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs that promote community reintegration. The therapist will also provide education to patients, families, and peers while adhering to the organization's mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
• Participate in student program mentoring and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development through education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives within the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification.
