Remote Web Project Manager

Coalition Technologies is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused **Remote Web Project Manager** to manage web design, web development, responsive design, eCommerce, and digital project workflows. This role is ideal for someone with strong **project management experience, web design knowledge, usability awareness, team coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and client expectations.**

As a Web Project Manager, your duties will include:

* Assisting with and reviewing project scopes while considering resources, technical constraints, cost estimates, business impact, and project risks
* Creating and executing project work plans and revising them as needed to meet changing requirements
* Supporting wireframes, sitemaps, and scopes of work
* Defining project scopes and giving clear instructions to design and development teams
* Clarifying and communicating project objectives, requirements, timelines, and success criteria to the team
* Identifying needed resources and assigning individual responsibilities
* Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
* Reviewing deliverables prepared by the team before passing them to Account Managers
* Applying Coalition Technologies’ methodology and enforcing project standards
* Ensuring project documents are complete, current, accurate, and stored appropriately
* Collaborating with the SEO team, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to establish project vision
* Analyzing tradeoffs between usability, performance needs, technical requirements, and client goals
* Ensuring approved requirements are developed in enough detail to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
* Attending client meetings as required
* Assisting with quality assurance processes, documentation, and testing where needed
* Identifying and managing project risks
* Maintaining awareness of industry trends and market conditions that shape client solutions

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in responsive design
* Proficiency using design or editing software
* Knowledge of project management software such as Basecamp, MS Project, Visio, Salesforce, or similar tools
* Solid understanding of web design standards, usability, rich media, and web project workflows
* Experience working with large or complex websites and high-profile clients
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
* Solid understanding of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, detailed work plans, specifications, resource allocation, and team meeting management
* Ability to anticipate issues, identify future bottlenecks, and work ahead to reduce potential project risks
* Ability to manage many projects simultaneously
* Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style
* Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
* Reliable remote workstation, including a fast computer, microphone, speakers, reliable internet, and reliable power

The following experience is preferred but not required:

* Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento
* Demonstrated leadership experience with teams of 3 or more people
* Experience with wireframing, sitemaps, scopes of work, and project documentation
* Experience coordinating designers, developers, SEO teams, Account Managers, and client stakeholders
* Experience with quality assurance processes, testing documentation, and web project delivery

For candidates located in **California, New York, Washington, and Colorado**, the starting base pay for this position ranges from **$18 to $35 per hour.** Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
