A small-animal general practice in the Greater Houston area is looking for a Medical Director to guide its medical team, strengthen clinical quality, and help veterinarians grow. What You'll Be Doing

This is a primary-care setting focused on dogs and cats, with opportunities to provide preventive care, dentistry, elective surgery, and other common surgical procedures. Dental and full-body radiography support diagnostic and treatment planning. Client education, clear communication, and thoughtful patient care are central to the work.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, but an emerging medical leader with the right clinical foundation and communication skills may also be a fit.

Practical Details

• Schedule: Full-time; practice hours span Monday through Saturday.

• Qualifications: DVM/VMD or equivalent, appropriate state veterinary license, and an active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Compensation: Starting base salary of $170,000, plus quarterly production bonuses and a Medical Director stipend. Final compensation depends on experience and qualifications.

• Bonus/Relocation: Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available.

• Weekend/On-call: Specific weekend and on-call expectations available upon request.
