Overview ASSYST is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our client in Austin TX Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099) Position: Onsite, No Remote Work Allowed. Job Title: Network Security Analyst II – RSA Archer Specialist Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst – RSA Archer Specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise RSA Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. The role will support risk management, assessment & authorization, controls assurance, issue management, and continuous compliance monitoring initiatives across the organization. This position works independently on complex assignments while collaborating with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant GRC implementations. Note: Employment is subject to a pre-employment security review. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain enterprise RSA Archer applications (A&A, Controls Assurance, Issues Management). Gather and translate business requirements into technical configurations and solution designs. Customize Archer forms, workflows, questionnaires, access controls, and data integrations. Develop REST API integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ITSM, CMDB platforms). Implement client-side scripting using JavaScript and jQuery. Support compliance initiatives aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, and regulatory frameworks. Provide troubleshooting, performance optimization, documentation, and user training. Follow change management and release governance processes. Required Certification Archer Certified Professional (ACP) OR Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator – Expert Certification Required Qualifications Strong expertise in RSA Archer platform architecture and configuration. Experience in GRC, risk management, and compliance programs. Experience integrating Archer with enterprise systems using REST APIs. Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery. Ability to manage complex implementations independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience in large enterprise or government environments.
