Security Officer (Daytime)- Full Time

Security OfficerNormal daily security patrols both on foot and by mechanical methods. Report any and all Security and Safety issues/incidents as prescribed by company and department policy and procedures.Primary Duties:Patrol parking area and Gatorland property to provide guests and employees with a safe and secure environment to visit and workAssist in company compliance with Local, State, Federal and Company rules and regulationsMake timely and accurate reports to manager, director and/or CEO regarding any and all incidents which happen on Gatorland propertyExcellent writing skills is a plusAct as the primary response person for all medical needs (First Aid/Injury) for all guests and employeesPossess good communication skills & report writing skillsPerform other duties as requestedBe able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of timeEducation, Experience, Specialized Skills, and Knowledge Requirements: High School graduate with a current Class D Security License and 2+ years of previous security experience. Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and present a professional image. Must have the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations during crises to ensure professional performance of duties. Must be available to work outside the parameters of a regular work schedule when needed (extended hours, extra days, etc.)This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee.
