MRI Technician | Providence, Rhode Island

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with specialized neuro imaging expertise for a 13-week contract in Providence, RI. This position offers a focused opportunity to utilize advanced MRI skills, particularly with Siemens Aera 1.5 equipment, and a variety of imaging techniques.


Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active BLS certification
• ARRT(MR) certification required; ARMRIT accepted
• Proficient with Siemens MRI technology, specifically Siemens Aera 1.5 1.5T
• Advanced experience in neuro imaging; body, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging preferred
• Skilled in scanning patients with multiple implanted devices
• Detail-oriented with strong patient care and safety focus during night shifts

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI exams focusing on neuro, body, angiography, and MSK imaging
• Operate Siemens Aera 1.5T MRI scanner efficiently and safely
• Manage imaging procedures for patients with implanted devices with care and precision
• Collaborate with the radiology team to maintain best practices and patient comfort
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines during night shifts

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekends required
