Quality Technician - 3rd Shift

Quality Control TechnicianThe Quality Control Technician will perform general duties related to the manufacturer and testing of material produced during the assigned shift. The duties will be performed in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Sprinturf standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standardsDetermining the cause of product defectsRecommend adjustments to the production processInspect, test, and measure materialsUse equipment to measure materialsDocument and organizing data of productsReview settings and processes of machineryQualifications:Good written and verbal communication skillsGood problem-solving and analytical skillsAstute attention to detailTime management skillsBasic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelBasic math skillsWilling and caring attitude of company standards and policiesAbility to use measuring devices such as scales and gaugesDocumentation and reporting skillsTeamwork and collaborationComfortable standing or walking for long periods of timeWorking conditions:The physical requirements for these positions will include standing or walking constantly during the shift. Will need to be able to lift 10-15 lbs. packages frequently during the shift. The environment is not air conditioned.
