Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for varied surgical cases, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique, positioning, and proper instrument handling
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers, monitor patient status intraoperatively, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate documentation of perioperative care and ensure proper counts, equipment readiness, and room turnover
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare the OR, verify patient identity, consent, and procedure details
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and patient privacy requirements; participate in debriefs and post-operative handoffs
- Utilize designated electronic systems and scheduling tools to access shift information, documentation, and communications; maintain competency with required apps

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- OR nursing experience; level 1 trauma exposure preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred
- High rating on skills checklist, including competency in neuro and vascular elements
- Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard; access to electronics to use these applications
- Ability to work 10-hour days with call, including weekends and holidays
