Requirements
Current RN license — state license required upon acceptance
ED / Emergency Room nursing experience
ACLS
BLS
TNCC
PALS or ENPC
NRP
De-escalation certification
If any required certification is not active before start, a renewal plan must be in place
Responsibilities
Provide direct, age-specific patient care
Utilize the nursing process and department standards
Assess and respond to patient needs
Delegate and supervise appropriate nursing activities
Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and policies
Provide safe, high-quality emergency care
