Rhino Medical is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist with cardiac anesthesia expertise for an ongoing locum tenens role supporting a large hospital in York, Pennsylvania. This opportunity involves providing care for diverse surgical cases, including trauma-related procedures, in a hospital setting with a wide case mix and a focus on patient-centered care.

This role offers flexible scheduling options with 4–5 shifts per week, varying shift times, and night call responsibilities, either on a full-time basis or approximately 3 weeks per month.

Practice Environment

Coverage & Schedule

• 4–5 shifts weekly, Monday through Friday
• Shift times: 06:15–16:45, 06:30–16:30, or 07:00–17:00
• Night beeper call 1–2 nights per week
• Flexible scheduling options: full-time or ~3 weeks/month

Clinical Responsibilities

• Cardiac anesthesia management for patients of all ages
• Collaboration with surgical teams and specialty clinicians
• Management of complex and trauma-related procedures
• Anesthetic care and patient monitoring during surgical interventions
• Documentation within Epic EMR

Candidate Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited institution
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC recognition
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days; expedited process possible with a clean file and leadership approval
