We would love to talk to you about this fantastic opportunity. Respiratory Therapy Supervisor Job Responsibilities: Maintains clinical expertise and practices as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. In addition, supervises staff, and students in the clinical setting. Respiratory Therapy Supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have the ability to communicate and care for neonates through the adolescent patient population with occasional work with adults.Requires knowledge, ability and judgment necessary to: exercise judgment within the guidelines of the medical plan of care, department policy and licensure practice acts.Must possess knowledge of respiratory therapeutics and the correlation of diagnostic assessment.Apply scientific knowledge; use a variety of respiratory equipment; and perform multiple technical procedures. Make discriminating observation.Must be capable of performing CPR without limitation, and respond to all emergent situations to manage the patients’ respiratory status. Qualifications Respiratory Therapy Supervisor Job Requirements Include: Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.Minimum of two years college.Two years’ experience in respiratory care is required.Experience in a supervisory position preferred.Credentialed as RRT.Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider. :
