Inventory Auditor

Verify merchandise and cash in each Company store by conducting physical counts using a handheld computer Notify store managers of incorrect prices and remove out-of-code merchandise Count and record cash, checks, and food stamps in registers, TACC tubes, and safes Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water Perform surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures Follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations Work independently with little supervision Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance Occasional overnight travel may be required Able to work independently with little supervision Able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Must be able to sit, talk and/or hear regularly Must frequently use hands to handle or grasp items Must occasionally stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms Must routinely lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
