Let's skip the part where I tell you this is an “exciting opportunity.” Here's what it actually is.
You get a region. Home Depot and Lowe's stores in it. Leads that come in already knowing they want turf and already knowing it isn't cheap. And a company that has spent years building the thing you get to sell — 4.95 stars across 500-plus reviews, a 25-year warranty in writing, no-seams guaranteed, dirt to turf in under two weeks.
Then you go run it.
Nobody is going to check on you.
You'll get trained on our product, our pricing, our process, and our install standards. Thoroughly. After that, you come to us when you need something. We'll be there fast. But we're not coming to find you.
And if your numbers slip, you put the meeting on the calendar. You show up and walk us through what you've already changed and what it's doing — not what you're planning to do. We'll help with anything you ask for. We won't chase you for a plan.

The bar
Our average sale is $9,204 .
Ten appointments a week is the minimum. Twenty is the goal.
Forty percent close rate is the expectation, not something to aim for. If 40% sounds like a stretch goal to you, we're not the right fit.

The money

Ten percent of contract value. It drops to 8% when you discount, so protect your price and keep your rate. That's the whole schedule — no tiers to decode, no accelerators that never trigger.
Here's the arithmetic on 48 working weeks:

Four and a half jobs a week puts you over $200k. Eight puts you north of $350k.
This is commission only. Best news you'll hear this week, or a dealbreaker. Either answer is fine — just know it now.  

Mileage reimbursed. Fifty bucks a month for your phone. 80 hours PTO, paid holidays, healthcare, vision, dental, 401k. Flexible, and remote when you're not standing in somebody's backyard.

What you'd own

Your region. Not a territory somebody assigns you leads in. A region you're accountable for.
The dealer relationship. Home Depot and Lowe's send us the majority of our volume. The reps who win here don't sit and wait for that — they're in the stores working table days, talking to anyone who walks past with a question about their yard, and booking their own open time on the floor. A single good table day fills a week. When leads get thin, that's the fastest lever you have, and it's yours to pull. If your answer to a slow week is to email your manager, this is the wrong seat.
The appointment, start to finish. Roll up. Walk the yard. Photograph it. Design it while they watch. Price it. Close it.
And no, you don't need a tape measure or a geometry refresher. We have technology that makes measuring easy . Your job is the conversation, not the arithmetic.
Your own numbers. Sit rate, close rate, average ticket. You'll see them every Monday, same as we do.

You must have

• In-home closing experience. Sitting at someone's kitchen table, looking them in the eye, asking for the order. We're not teaching you how to sell.
• Big-ticket track record. $5k and up, in the home, one-call close.
• Self-generation. You've built your own pipeline before, not just worked a lead list. If you've done dealer, retail-partner, or big-box programs, say so up front.
• Territory mentality. You think about your region the way an owner thinks about a store.
• The obvious stuff. Valid license. Insured vehicle that starts. Tablet competence without calling your kid.
• Character. This industry has a reputation. We built this company being the opposite of it. Clients first, commission second — and yes, we can tell the difference in about ten minutes.

Bonus: landscape, hardscape, lighting, etc.

How to apply

Talkers can't fake this part. Closers will breeze it.

1. Tell me your last 12 months. Units, average ticket, close rate, and where the leads came from. Round numbers are fine. Made-up numbers are not — we'll ask about them.
2. Tell me about a territory or account you grew yourself. What it was when you got it, what it was when you left, and what you specifically did.
3. One paragraph: what do you do in a week where the leads don't show up?
4. Read the whole thing? Start your subject line with CLOSE followed by your best month — units and dollars. Example: CLOSE — 11 jobs, $118k. Anything else gets deleted.

Don't bother if

• You need a manager to keep you moving.
• You want us to teach you how to sell.
• “Self-generate” sounds like something that should be somebody else's job.
• You've only ever worked leads somebody handed you.
• Ten appointments a week sounds like a lot.
• Discounting is your closing tool.
• Commission-only is a dealbreaker. Say so now, no hard feelings.
• You skipped the subject line.
