Dining Room Server

The Club at 12 Oaks Position Summary The Club at 12 Oaks is seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and service-oriented Dining Room / Pub Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to club members and their guests in both the dining room and pub environments. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in an upscale country club setting. Our servers are expected to consistently deliver warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service while maintaining the high standards of The Club at 12 Oaks. Essential Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to club members and their guests. Greet members and guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Have a strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials, beverages, and applicable club promotions. Answer questions regarding menu items and make appropriate food and beverage recommendations. Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently. Monitor tables throughout the meal and anticipate member and guest needs. Maintain proper table presentation and ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and well-stocked. Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, expo, and management teams. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies. Properly handle member charges, cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout each shift. Assist with resetting tables and preparing the dining room/pub for service. Work cooperatively with other servers, bartenders, managers, and club staff. Address member concerns professionally and notify management when additional assistance is needed. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with club members and guests. Perform other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Management. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will: Provide exceptional hospitality and genuinely enjoy serving others. Be comfortable working in a premier, upscale country club environment . Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Maintain a positive attitude during busy periods. Be able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and beverage service. Be willing to learn and continuously improve their service skills. Present themselves in a clean, polished, and professional manner. Be comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Experience Previous restaurant, country club, fine dining, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to exceptional service. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to carry food and beverage trays safely. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25-30 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the dining and pub areas during service.
