Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness for guests, visitors, and staff. This role combines customer service, communication, and teamwork in a caring culture that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities throughout the hotel location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe for policy violations, and/or report maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Support hotel operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or providing a professional presence during high-traffic periods, special events, or after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
