Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in a healthcare organization. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing imaging procedures, moderate sedation, and related interventions within a clinical setting. The role requires a nurse licensed in the state, with relevant experience supporting diagnostic imaging and adult acute care. Job Details Certifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Location Requirements: Valid CA RN license in hand required. Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, adult acute care, or diagnostic imaging preferred. Schedule: 10-hour days, shifts starting within 7 or 8 am, working at least 40 hours per week. Additional clinical responsibilities include supporting imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology, including IV support, patient prep, moderate sedation, monitoring, and recovery. Ability to wear lead aprons and enter MRI environments as needed. The position involves floating to other UCSF facilities as required. References must be in hand at time of submission, with two references from the most recent employer. Submission requires completed references and relevant certifications.
