Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.Work Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 pm - 4:30 am; required monthly weekend rotation. Overtime: 1-4 hours of daily required overtimeHourly Range: $17.75 - 19:00Job Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualification:High School Diploma or equivalentOne year or more of prior clinical/lab experienceOne year or more of prior knowledge of specimen accessioningQualification:Current or prior Labcorp experienceOne year or more of previous experience in production or manufacturingAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAble to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficiency in MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized colorblind testAble to work 1-4 hours of daily overtimeAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
