Sales Executive – Associate Director, Kansas City (Financial Services) Our Sales function combines business, sector, and account knowledge with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs. As a Core Growth Sales Executive, you will work closely with the Core Growth Sales Leader and senior partners to develop and execute strategies that drive growth and deepen client relationships across our Financial Services portfolio. Key Responsibilities Deliver personal sales contributions and lead deal origination to achieve sales impact and pipeline advancement. Own client relationships, manage pipeline development, and maintain account operational effectiveness. Allocate approximately 80% of time to external client engagement and devote remaining time to sales strategy, pursuits, and account planning. Collaborate with account teams, sector, service line, and solutions teams to develop and execute growth strategies for assigned accounts. Skills and Attributes Thrives in a matrixed organization, balancing client needs with business initiatives. Proficient in developing and executing sales strategies that build billable engagements and executive relationships. Builds networks across leadership and service lines, driving coordinated market efforts. Acts as a trusted advisor and catalyst for strategic initiatives. Strong consultative influence, executive presence, conflict resolution, and coaching. Qualifications 10–12+ years of business development/sales experience in professional services and solutions. Proven record of selling complex digital, technology, and managed services to Fortune 500 C‑level executives globally. Experience with large strategic accounts and strong client management skills. Knowledge of sales tools, methodologies, and go‑to‑market models, including social media. Insight into market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics within the Financial Services sector. Understanding of standard account/sales operational procedures. Strong sector or technical content expertise. Conflict resolution capability. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree or MBA. Coaching and mentoring skills. Team selling experience. Willingness to travel.
