The Arlington is recruiting for a hospitality focused Server/Bartender to join our culinary team! Are you that person that is passionate about serving others and like to have fun doing so? Then this is the role for you! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions for the culinary department. This position is a part time position that includes rotating weekends. Salary: Starting at $20/hour. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Server/Bartender: Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization. Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always. Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always. Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, mocktails, specialty beverages, coffee and other refreshments according to established standards. Demonstrate knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary beverages, wine, spirits and responsible alcohol service. Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items. Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Candidate must be 21 years of age or older. 1+ years of bartending or upscale hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of POS systems and beverage inventory procedures. Experience in senior living preferred. HOSPITALITY FOCUS: The Arlington fully embraces a culture of hospitality.
