Location: Sam's Club #8128, 4100 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria, IL 61615-4405. Responsibilities Be a Team Member : Maintains up to date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert : Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains and sanitizes equipment; and demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie : Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions regarding production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner : Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assists with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador : Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style; understands roadblocks and assists in training them. Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers and business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties and feedback. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*; the actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
