Must be detail-oriented, accurate and able to follow directions. The position requires the ability to work well within a team and exercise good judgment in all aspects of the work. This is a physical, hands on role that drives warehouse equipment about 25% of the time.What You Will Do:Work safely in an industrial warehouse environmentOperate equipment as trained in a safe manner (ex: sit-down forklift, order picker, pallet riders)Interact professionally with leadership and co-workers in accordance with company core valuesPerform various functions in other departments around the building as business dictatesPerform tasks with exceptional attention to detail and accuracyPerform daily housekeeping tasksPerform tasks as trained and as efficiently as possible to meet production expectationsBe present for all scheduled work shifts without a track record of calling out from workPerform other duties as assigned including duties outside normal responsibilities as neededOther duties as assigned by managementMinimum Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Experience:High school diploma/GEDHighly motivated individuals with positive and professional attitudes that can work independentlyExperience with Material Handling Equipment (Forklifts, Order Pickers, Pallet Runners)High level of work ethic and attendance recordAbility to apply common sense to daily situationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods of time throughout the whole shiftAbility to speak and hear in order to communicate with others and work safely in the warehouseAbility to perform repetitive motionAbility to perform heavy work to include lifting up to 50 lbs and other heavy items repetitively all shiftVisual acuity to perform tasks such as reading paperwork and operating equipment safelyAbility to work in conditions such as high heat and/or humidity and colder winter temperaturesTravel: Some travel involvedOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this position.
