As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned, reporting irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
