Job Summary Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a high volume kitchen environment. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and specifications as set by the executive chef. Ensure that all food is prepared safely and to the highest quality standards. Cooking Cook menu items across various stations, such as grill, garde manger, sauté, and fry. Monitor and maintain cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly. Prepare batch sizes according to par levels provided by the management team. Sanitation and Cleanliness Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following food safety regulations and sanitation protocols. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly. Inventory Management Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels and helping with inventory counts. Properly store, rotate, and label food items to reduce waste. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with the kitchen team and service staff to ensure timely service. Communicate effectively with the kitchen manager regarding inventory needs and any kitchen issues. Flexibility Be adaptable to changes in menu items or special requests from guests. Assist with special events as needed. Qualifications Kitchen experience, with at least 1 year on the line Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work in a high volume environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn. #J-18808-Ljbffr
