Lab Tech Position

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Lab Tech to join their team. As a Lab Tech, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production and research teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong adherence to safety protocols, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Tech

Location: Alachua, FL

Pay Range: $18

What's the Job?

• Set up lab equipment and participate in running equipment for specific projects
• Maintain and clean lab equipment such as vacuum pumps and thermocouples
• Carry out written manufacturing procedures accurately
• Participate actively in safety programs and handle hazardous waste responsibly
• Operate routine instrumentation like GCs and melting point apparatus

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of experimental procedures and preparation techniques
• Understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Experience with distillation techniques and handling high-pressure gases
