Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

$1523.20/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and manage sedation during interventions.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures such as EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopies.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures, patient responses, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety protocols, unit policies, and infection control standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent endoscopy or GI nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR or similar systems.
  
  
• 
  Have ACLS certification and the ability to float within the designated area.
  
  
• 
  Maintain flexibility to work one weekend per month and approximately one night per week.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
