Technical Operations Manager

Our client is transforming the automotive locksmith industry through innovative mobile technology, robotics, and customer-focused service. We're seeking a Mobile Operations Manager to lead a team of 3-4 Mobile Operations Technicians at retail partner locations while driving sales performance, coaching employees, and serving as the team's automotive key programming expert. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management, customer service, sales, and automotive key programming expertise . The ideal candidate enjoys leading people, building customer relationships, and training others while remaining actively involved in daily operations. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3-4 Mobile Operations Technicians. Train technicians on customer service, sales techniques, operational procedures, and key programming best practices. Drive team sales performance through customer engagement and relationship-building. Monitor sales goals, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics. Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure positive resolutions. Build strong relationships with customers and retail partners. Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture. Technical & Operational Leadership Serve as the team's technical expert for automotive key cutting and programming. Cut, duplicate, clone, and program automotive keys, fobs, and remotes as needed. Train and coach technicians on programming procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Ensure all completed keys meet quality and accuracy standards before customer delivery. Manage inventory, equipment, tools, tablets, POS systems, and company vehicles. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile work environment. Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Qualifications Required Experience cutting, duplicating, and programming automotive keys, fobs, and remotes. Ability to train, coach, and develop employees. Strong customer service and sales mindset. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable leading a team while remaining hands-on in daily operations. Experience working toward sales goals, KPIs, or performance metrics. Tech-savvy with experience using tablets, POS systems, inventory software, and mobile applications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Automotive locksmith or mobile locksmith experience. Mobile service or field operations experience. Retail, wireless, banking, hospitality, or automotive service leadership experience. Inventory management, merchandising, or retail operations experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
