Automation Tester II

Location : 100% REMOTE Job Type : Full-Time Salaried with Benefits (30 days Paid Time Off, 401 K matching, tuition reimbursement, and more!) Overview We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester II to join. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience with evaluating software for automation needs, implementing automation test frameworks, and writing automation test scripts. The candidate must be self-motivated with strong technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with development teams. Responsibilities Design and develop an automation test suite based on the business processes and needs of the client. Maintain automation test scripts in response to updates in software requirements. Stay current with automation tools and industry best practices. Coordinate execution of test scripts and documentation of test results in test logs or defect tracking systems. Evaluate manual test cases for automation feasibility. Assist with the execution and writing of manual test cases as needed in support of the software. Track and communicate project testing status to key stakeholders throughout the development process. Ensure delivery of code and systems meet performance, operational readiness and other non-functional requirements. Execute test cases/activities, analyze, report, track defects and report test execution metrics. Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: Excellent technical skills, organizational and planning skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, problem analysis, attention to detail and accuracy, solid judgment, and decision-making ability, takes initiative and is adaptable and customer service oriented. Experience writing and executing automation test scripts Experience installing and setting up an automated test tool framework Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python Experience with SQL Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Thorough understanding of the Agile development process Expertise with PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) preferred Education and Experience Prefer a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant business experience. Experience with government and DoD environments is preferred. 5+ years of relevant business experience. 2+ years of automation test experience. Clearance Requirements No clearance required.
